For annual, preventative care exams, we will send a reminder card to you in the mail. When you receive that card, please call the office to schedule an appointment time that is convenient for you. Should you have the need for a problem-related visit, we will schedule as soon as possible based upon urgency. Please give at least 24 hours notice if you must cancel an appointment so that we can use that time to accommodate other patients.

Below is a list of some of the major insurances that we accept. If you have a plan that is not on the list, please call us to verify if we accept it. Also, requirements with insurance companies often change, so please check with your insurance carrier to see if Habersham OB/GYN is currently on their participating provider list. Be sure to bring your insurance card to every appointment so that we can accurately bill for the services. This will save you time and phone calls later. Remember that co-pays are due at the time of service.

Habersham OB/GYN's office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., therefore, please feel free to call us doing these hours. Though we intend to answer each call as it comes in, there may be times when are asked to leave a message. Our goal is to be responsive to your needs in such instances. You can help us make the best use of your time by leaving a message providing as much information as possible, including your date of birth and social security number. Always give us the best phone number to return your call. Every effort is made to return calls by the end of the day.
If you have an urgent need after hours, please call or visit the emergency room at Habersham County Medical Center.
For your convenience, prescriptions for birth control pills and other ongoing medications are routinely written with enough refills to last from one annual visit until the next. Should you need a refill on any other medication, please call the office.

For Pap Smears, Blood Tests, Biopsies, and Bone Density tests, a medical assistant or provider from Habersham OB/GYN will call you with the results. Although Mammograms are done at the hospital, one of Habersham obgyn staff will call you with results or to request appointment for additional views or diagnostic tests.
For questions about your account, please feel free to contact our business office during regular business hours. If no one is available when you call, please follow the prompts and leave a detailed message with the number to reach you. We will return your call as soon as possible.
